New Investor! Just started ROOKIE boot camp
Hello guys,
my name is Nick Mowers! I just started the rookie boot camp last week to continue my real estate investing education. I recently graduated college and started a full-time job. I am hoping to get my first property next year through an FHA loan! After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, I knew I wanted to become a real estate investor.
I am looking forward to connecting with people through bigger pockets. I was wondering if anyone here knows of any real estate meet-ups in Tampa.

Hi Thomas! Welcome to Bigger Pockets and I would love to know your experience with the boot camp and how it has added value in your journey. I am an out of state investor from Northern Virginia and I invest primarily in Multi family and SFH in Cleveland. If that is a strategy you want to explore, I would love to discuss.

I'm a fan of the TB REIA which meets every 3rd Thursday of the month. Good spot to network as well as gain information from a guest speaker. But if you're looking for something weekly Larry Harbolt's holds a Weekly Real Estate Investing Meetup, every Monday at 7.

Hello Thomas, and welcome to the community. I would love to know what your thought are on the rookie bootcamp and how it has helped you out once you complete it. Good luck on your journey!

Welcome. I am also new to RE and seeking information anywhere I can find it. I have learned alot already from this site. I'd love to get feedback on the bootcamp.

Hi Nick. Welcome. I am also a new member. Rookie Boot Camp was closed. Hopefully, there's space in the next one. If you wouldn't mind, please share your experience after boot camp.

Hi, Nick! Rich Dad Poor Dad is an awesome book! Often gets people to see the world through a new lens. If you would like to bounce ideas off of each other, reach out whenever!

Hey Nick, would you recommend the bootcamp? Was it worth the money? I'm 17 with limited funds but enough to buy one of their courses and get more knowledgeable. Have you been able to purchase a property? Really would appreciate your input, thanks.
