I am a new member looking to grow my knowledge and get ready to house hack middle of next year. The catch we have 5 kids and are researching how to make this work locally in Idaho falls. Excited to learn and grow here thanks.

Welcome! I am in IF as well. My wife is an investor friendly agent here. Househacking with kids can be a challenge for sure. But depending on your flexibility, is possible. We've seen some good sized homes for sale with a separate unit or two. It will require patience and maybe not expecting your dream home yet.
