Starting my investment journey
Hi everyone on the big pockets forum. I just closed on my first investment property. I'm doing a live and flip or live and then rent. I'm very excited to get started on the rehab. I retired from law enforcement two years ago and started my own handyman business. Now I'm starting real investment journey. Would love to find someone to partner with in Sacramento area.

Congrats on your new journey, sir! Sounds like your off to a great start coming from the handyman job and law enforcement background. I wish you the best of luck! You've probably done this already but have you asked any of your fellow comrades at the station about going in with you on a property? I know David Green got his start doing that so thought I'd ask.
I'm a new investor in the Bay area , I have yet to start my process with my first investment, thinking of out of state to start my first market. It would be great to have something closer to keep an eye on the contractors if my first place needs rehab. I would love to tentatively attend that meeting on the 29th!
