New Member Near Dallas, TX Here!
Hello BiggerPockets Forums,
I hope you y’all are having a great day!
I am Carlos L., a newbie to real estate investing.
While I have been interested in REI for 2 years now, I have only now decided to take the full jump in. I have done many forms of research: YouTube, Books, and internet searches. These have all been valuable resources however I believe that the best way of learning is asking questions to more experienced professionals! I hope to make great connections and prosper along side the rest of you!
I am currently located near Denton, TX and I’m searching for deals near this area. I am open to long distance investing but I’m currently researching what that entails.
I'd love to learn how to properly analyze deals, tips on building a team, tips on BRRR, and tips on landlording.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Carlos, you are in luck. BP just opened up (like a week ago) there Bootcamp Courses & Classes for Winter 2023!! I hear there are awesome! They have a bootcamp for "Rookies", STR, Mult-Family, House Hacking, and Landlording". So I'd start there!
Welcome aboard!

Welcome Carlos!
Hi Carlos, One of the easiest ways of scaling in real estate today is to invest in turnkey properties out of state. If you have a busy 9-5 routine but have the money to get started and don't have enough time, turnkey companies provide some of the best resources to scale your portfolio. I have used that strategy so feel free to reach out if you want to discuss.
