Investing in Charleston

David Warsofsky
Posted

Hey BP,

My name is David and my family and I have just moved to the Charleston area. We are excited to be in the Lowcountry and can't wait to experience nice weather year around.

I have recently retired from my previous job and am thinking about getting into Real Estate full time. I would like to grow my portfolio by 2-3 rental properties year over year. My main goal is cash flow right now since I have recently retired and the money coming in each month is important to me.

I would love to connect with other investors in the area and get some advice from people who have had success in Charleston.

Thank you, David

REI Central is tonight at Palmetto Brewing on Huger at 630p - I strongly recommend you attend. There's another solid meetup with a different group next week. I'll be there tonight if you need someone to meet up with. This is an excellent place to get started in CHS if you aren't already attending.

I'm both an investor and a lender here in CHS and am happy to help where I can. The REI community is super active here and you wont have any problems finding connections.

Thanks for the response. I unfortunately cannot attend tonight. But would be interested in attending next week if you could pass along any information.

The meetup next week is at Tideland Brewing on Thursday 9/12 at 6p. It's the CHS Circle Investor Group. There's a corresponding FB group as well
