Forcing the door into real estate investing by obtaining CPA - advice wanted
I'm a firefighter who wants to go back to college. I love helping people, and I love what we do, but I want to learn more skills. I'm interested in obtaining the CPA certification, but there are a few hurdles, such as the 1-year work experience to sit for the exam. I work a 56-hour work week. Is it possible to gain this experience remotely? Still trying to figure this part out. I don't necessarily want to make a full career switch, I want to give myself access to more opportunities. If any CPAs would be willing to talk with me, I'd be very appreciative. CPA is my plan B when I'm too broken to do this job anymore, it takes its toll. Thanks for reading!

You will have to get college credits and have experience hours. Maybe try the EA first to get your foot in the door on the tax side.
