6 year real estate investor recently arrived Madison, WI from Beijing, China

Hi I'm Mark Shaffar. I moved to Madison, WI from Beijing, China last December. I'm loving the clean Wisconsin air and don't miss Beijing traffic and smog too much. I invested in Beijing real estate and did well then sold there and started to buy rentals in Minnesota in 2009. I currently own 4 duplexes and a SFH rental in St. Paul, MN. I wear two hats as a personal real estate investor and I recently started working for the guys I was buying from at Midwest Equity Partner. I'm looking to learn more about real estate investing in South East Wisconsin and also to represent my company well in their business of rehabbing and selling turn key rentals. I have 4 kids ages 4-12 and I hope to give them some experience in real estate investing now that we live in the same country as our rentals.
