Dallas based, looking for small Mutlifamily properties in Kansas City

Hi all,

I'm a 26 year old Kansas City native currently living in Dallas. After graduating from school in 2011, I worked for two years in the real estate group at a bank in Chicago and now work for the commercial real estate lending affiliate of a Dallas-based real estate investment fund. I'm hoping to buy a smaller multifamily rental in the Kansas City area in the next tweleve months. Although my full time day job is real estate investing, I have no (or very limited) experience investing in smaller (less than $5.0MM) rental properties. As such, I think Bigger Pockets will be very helpful in helping me source, evaluate, and close my first deal!
