Hello all. Just joined bigger pockets as our hope is to start a career in real estate investing. I have grown up around single family home builds my entire life as that was my father's work and business and we have been renting out our old house for about 5 years now with great success. My husband and I are in the beginning stages of starting up a company and investing in real estate through buy and holds (goal is a smaller multifamily unit) as well as flips. Our goal is to be able to invest our money wisely (doesn't everyone want to!) so that this becomes our sole source of income as well as future retirement/savings plan.
