It fell in my lap....

and now I am running with the idea that I am a 'real estate investor'....

I bought a small starter home about 10 years ago and paid it off in 6. When our family was about to gain child #6 we thought a 1000 sq. Ft. 3/1 was maybe a little too small. When we started looking to sell, we found that the market was really not favorable. We were approached be several different potential tenant before we even THOUGHT about renting.... We have now been renting this house out problem free for 3 years at a great cash flow percentage. Another small home came up for sale nearby that seemed a no-brainer deal as a rental property and I purchased it, gaining positive cash flow on it the first month I owned it. This has been a worry free high cash flow property for a year and a half now.

I am now hooked, and actively seeking out deals - I am looking forward to learning all I can from this community as I move forward. Good to be in your company!
