Hello everyone! My name is Eric Smathers and I am just getting started in real estate investing. I am a retired Air Force Veteran turned Lean Six Sigma Black Belt facilitator, teacher and performance improvement consultant for an academic medical center. But by this afternoon I am excited to say I will add Real Estate Investor to that sentence. I am closing on 2 SFHs later this afternoon! Both houses appraised for $97K and I was able to buy them for $87.5K each. Both already have happy renters that are ready to sign new leases. In fact, both houses are next door to each other. Lol. I'm super excited and looking forward to learning and building my network with everyone here on BP.
