Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Aldo Gutierrez. I am an emergency physician practicing in NY. I am currently in the process of purchasing my first home and through the process of trying to become more educated came across bigger pockets, rich dad poor dad, white coat investor, and well now here I am posting my introduction and excited to roll my sleeves up!
I am very hard working and as an emergency physician particularly good at knowing how to look for information and how to work with little or limited data. I have high hopes of making this work and making it my primary investment strategy economy permitting.
I'd like to potentially start my first deal within the next few months...
Welcome ti BP @Aldo Gutierrez
I would start by targeting areas you want to buy investment properties. The hardest thing about the rental game is getting your finger on the pulse of different markets. If you spend the time up front getting to know some target areas, you should be able to do very well! Are you planning on self managing or partnering up with others to go big right away?
Thank you. I'm still settling in (recently moved back to NY) and I'd like to get through a couple of books and uptodate on the podcasts (I'm only by 46) before I get started but would def be open to partnering up. I should be good to go in a few months if not early next year.
