Hello everyone, My name is Christian Biddle. I’m 20 years old. I’m a student at Indiana State in Terre Haute, IN and live in the area as well. I study business administration and my father works at a construction company in the area, which I hope is where my career will begin after college. In the past year, my parents have bought two duplexes in Terre Haute and I live in one unit while managing the other unit in one of these duplexes. I’ve assisted every step of the way to the best of my ability and have learned a lot. My goal in real estate is to have fun and do things that truly excite me. I want to eventually own apartment complexes and office buildings across the Midwest. However, my goal for 2018 is just to complete my first solo deal. I used to always listen to The Bigger Pockets Podcast at work during the summer and finally got around to making my account and introducing myself. I came here with the hope of finding a mentor or just learning more tricks of the trade and some assistance in my journey. My focus is on learning as much about how to succeed in this business as possible. I’m excited to become a part of this community and am looking forward to getting in touch with some of you! @Christian Biddle - I see that your last post was about 9 months ago, and I was curious how things have gone for you over the last year in Terre Haute. I too am a BP newbie (located in Bloomington, IN) but I am thinking more and more about investing in Terre Haute where my wife has family. Have you closed your first solo deal? have you met an investor friendly agent you could recommend? Let me know and thanks.
