About to begin this journey in Los Angeles/Orange County

Good Afternoon,

I am 3 years in to my career after college. Truth is I moved back in with my parents (God Bless them) to save like hell. I am going on month number 27 living as if I made min wage and saving the rest. It's been trying and challenging. I have now arrived to my desired capital and about to make my move.

My motivation for investing is to be able to have passive income to support my parents in their later years and be able to return to my passion of coaching basketball (love working with kids) one day.

Anyway, I have read most of the bigger pocket books and its truly allowed me to eliminate fears I may have had in the beginning.

I have never been to a meet up or anything of the like, but here is to new experiences and meeting new people.

Feel free to message me, if you are out of the area and have any questions about my area.

Thank you.

@Antonio A.

Hey Antonio! I, too am 27 months into living with my parents post-grad. My boyfriend and I each moved back home to save money so we could buy a house. We live very frugally and do side hustles to supplement income. In the past year I learned more about investing and am now more informed for when I do finally buy my first property. I actually went a step further and became a licensed agent, too.

Which area of LA are you in? I'm in OC, but thinking about getting a few other 20-somethings together who get the idea of moving home, saving, investing, etc.

 Hello! I am in the Fullerton area but I work in the city of Santa Ana. What about you? Congratulations on becoming a licensed agent. Orange County is over whelming, I am looking at inland empire but that drive over the 91 is brutal!

I live in Villa Park/Orange area but work in Irvine. I'm really excited to start working more with real estate. I'm actually looking for an investment property in the IE for a family member. We're not rushing to buy, but looking for something in the next 6 months. There are some really nice properties and new developments, but of course, they are more expensive.
