I am a recent college grad currently working in the finance industry in the Peoria, IL metropolitan area. Through experiences at work and by speaking with individuals who have owned RE for many years, I quickly realized that RE was something I wanted to pursue. My current goal is to house hack multifamily properties for the next several years, and then expand from there. I would love to connect with anyone willing to lend me advice or direction, especially those in the central Illinois market.

Starting with a house-hack is a great way to go but don't be afraid to scale a little as you do so. For instance, instead of buying one a year and house hacking each one for the next three years maybe add another property or two every year along with the house-hacks? Just my two cents!
