Welcome to the BP family!  We love St Louis and have a couple rentals there.  I recommend staying out of St Louis City County unless you're going to do condo air bnb type rentals.  We really like St Louis County and have had good success there.  My biggest recommendation is to build a good team to work with (realtors, contractors, property managers, etc) based on the strategy you plan to use to invest there.

Best of Success!

@Elgin Carnse No one can tell you on where you should invest on the information provided. I would suggest on purchasing somong to rent that you would be ok living in yourself. If you want to talk directly feel free to reach out.
