Janesville, WI Area investing

I grew up in South Central Wisconsin and still have some family there so I'm seeing if I can make the area work out for investing in real estate. If there are investors, lenders, agents, contractors, wholesalers..etc (you get my point), I'd like to meet you and discuss the areas and general REI climate.

I was able to find some info on these forums, though it was all a little dated.  Realistically I'm trying to get systems and processes in place to be able to take advantage of opportunities in the future (1-6 months is my goal, I'm a little busy with my current job and don't want to jump into anything, unless the right deal comes along).
