Hey guys, quick question. If I'm married would me and my wife be able to use FHA loans separately?
Ex. I use mine to buy our first property/home, then a few years down the road she uses a FHA loan to buy our next property/home. Would this work?
Hey @Landon Culver , that is a great plan! Just make sure both of you are not on one of the loans. Each person will also need to qualify for the property by themselves. That means earn enough money, have a good DTI ratio, and have the down payment. If all that checks out, I say do it!
Thanks for the advice and giving me a clear anwser
You could do that- keep in mind at some point you should plan to refinance out of FHA and into conventional once you have enough equity so you can remove that mortgage insurance.
