I am interested in meeting fellow investors and wholesalers in Augusta and surrounding areas. I do not have a great deal of experience investing, so I am looking for potential partners and to make my way onto a few wholesaler's lists. I recently joined a few real estate meetup groups, but have not attended any meetings yet.

Although I am new and open to just about anything, I would like to begin with fairly low priced multifamily or small apartment complexes to get my feet wet but would consider single family if the numbers make sense. I am open to ugly properties, but not complete gut jobs or ones that require extensive repair before they could be rented. I simply don't have the experience or capital to handle major rehabs.

I am in the same boat Chris.  I am stilling pursuing my first property.  I am looking for single family.  I also live in Grovetown.  What real estate meet up groups have you researched?

I joined all that I could find with more than a few members. The Augusta REIA Meetup seems to be the most active, but their meetings are closer to Columbia, SC. I am working with a real estate agent that I have known for a while to look for properties and to link me up with folks that might be interested in working together.

All I do is buy and sell investor properties. I do list homes on the open market, but most of the time we don’t need to. Actually, just closed one today for a 21 yr old buying his second deal via owner finance. Shoot me your best contact and I’ll get you going right away.

I am also a new investor in the Augusta area, in the process of closing on my first deal (4 units) now. Has anyone in this thread actually attended any meet ups with other investors? Looking to network with likeminded people the same as everyone else above it seems.

There are a couple of active local investment groups in town. REIA of Augusta meets at the Columbia County library in Evans. Both groups are a good way to meet people that are investing in our local market. REIA is geared more networking and deal sharing.

Come to the Augusta REIA meeting tonight at 7:00. It is at the Columbia county library. I guarantee you will learn something and meet a lot of interesting people.

I live in Statesboro, GA. I would love to learn more about the Augusta RE market. I always see properties in my zillow alerts at good prices but dont know much about the rent demand in that area.
