Anyone have recommendations for Printer

For Direct marketing, letters, printing flyers for houses we flip.

Laser or Inkjet?

Color or B&W?

I'm constantly printing stuff for real estate but realize I need something better than my pixma canon especially since the cartridges cost $50

I've heard good things about Brother Laser printers. They range from $80-$450. Does a laser color print well?
Also I wanted to get one where I would not have to pay a lot for cartridges or can find cheaper knockoff cartridges?
