I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to approach other investors in my area? I am really wanting to get into real estate, but my main issue is experience. I am on BP everyday listening to podcast, and searching through the forums soaking up all of the information that I can. I am wanting to help other investors in any way that I can, in order to learn from them. I understand that I need them more than they need me, and I want to benefit them as well. Time is money in this industry, and I don't want to waste anyone's time. Any advice on the right and wrong way to approach this situation is very appreciated.
Find someone that's doing what you want to do and ask them what they need in their business right now.
Even better, if you have current skills that are applicable to their needs then offer them for free.
You'll be floored how much you'll gain.
Join your local REIA and meetups and get to know people. People are there to network and it won't be hard to strike up conversations and ask questions.
