Baltimore City Section 8 Auctions
Hi -
I have seen properties with section-8 tenants on auction sites (Ashland , Alex Cooper etc) that seem to sell for "reasonable" prices (high cash on cash returns). Besides the higher risk of deferred maintenance and lower property values from where the areas they are located (lower end neighborhoods) how would you assess the risk of one vs buying a home in Baltimore county?
I know about the differences in water bills and licenses between the two, but what else should I keep in mind vs the properties and tenants I am used to (market and in the county).
