Massachusetts laws on installation & repair of gas on gas stoves

Is anybody on here aware of any recent changes to MA laws/building code that made it illegal to buy/sell or repair gas on gas stoves? I was told (I believe) that it was no longer legal to even repair them. Also, if a used one is found, is it legal for a licensed contractor to connect it? Thanks all...
