Starting my Due Diligence period for my first deal, owner occupied Triplex (two structures, Duplex & SFH on property) in Hunterdon County, NJ.
Checking if anyone knows any of the below professionals that they would highly recommend..
RE Professionals
- Accountant/CPA: Experience with real estate and small business is preferable
- Mortgage Broker / Bankers / Recommended Lenders
- Insurance Agent – Home, Flood, Rental property
Due Diligence Contractors
- Home Inspector
- Well Water inspection, testing, maintenance
- Septic System inspection, testing, maintenance
- Asbestos Remediation Company
- Termite / Pest Control Company
General Contractors (Any good contractors that are highly recommended)
- General Handyman
- Plumber
- HVAC
Also, closing is ~90 days out.. I was looking to shop around for mortgage rates.. Would anyone suggest I shop around now or hold off until closing gets closer?
