Security Cameras for rentals in Jersey City
Hello, I was thinking about installing dome style security cameras on the outside of our MFHs (2 units each) in Jersey City. The primary purpose is simply to have the ability to monitor the coming / goings and general safety of the properties without having to go to the properties every time. However I've been reading up on Landlord security cameras and found 2 sides of the coin.
1. Landlords like me looking for such systems
2. Folks tell them to read up on local laws for tenant privacy
Question for the experienced landlords in NJ. Any experience with such systems?
Pros / cons / legal aspects / costs / referrals?
