Looking for an REI mentor from NJ or nearby

Is there anyone that would be willing to be my mentor? I am from NJ and my local REIA meetings are over an hour or two away, and at the moment I don't have a car. I have the basics down I just need someone to bounce ideas off of. Is anyone in NJ or nearby willing to help me? TIA
