@Jordan Gambill - yes, there are various meetups of real estate investors here in Charlotte.  Every month or every other month there have been meet ups posted here on BiggerPockets.  If you haven't done so already, add "Charlotte" to your keyword alerts and you should get notified when the next one is posted.

In addition to the BP specific meet ups, be sure to check out the local REIA meetings and the many meet ups posted on MeetUp.com. I guess there is almost a meet up every day somewhere in the Charlotte area.

There is one tomorrow at the Sheraton on Scott Futrell Drive. Starts at 6pm. The Charlotte Metro REIA.
