City grant to revitalize a property-there is a catch
Hey guys,
Somebody told me about the fact that the PA city provides grants for landlords/homeowners for improvements of a property.
When I called the city they said that it has to test positive for lead. And if it does then they will provide a grant to clean it up but you have to stay under 25K budget.
Here is my question: if there is lead, would it be better to not know about it?
Because who knows how much is the cleanup, what if the clean up 100K, then the city will give you 25K and you are responsible for the remaining 75K of clean up?
What are your thoughts?
Thank you
