In need of a R/E Attorney--Recs? Buyer won't sign termination
I need a real estate attorney in Tennessee, any recommendations?
I put in an offer for a place in Gatlinburg, but the owner wants to keep rental bookings for all of December. The house was suppose to close end of November. I am uncomfortable with having unknown guests use my property, and what if they damage it, who is then responsible for it. The house would have closed already, and I doubt I will be able to hunt down the seller for damages. So I am backing out of the contract since we couldn't agree on the December rental bookings. I have signed the termination contract, but now the seller is refusing to sign it. They are dragging it on, and my earnest money is being held up. I need to know what my recourse is.
Does anyone know of a good real estate attorney in Tennessee who knows the local laws?
