Im planning to rent out one of the room in my condo. I was curious if i can use the same residential lease agreement for it ? ( TXR-2001 form)
@Hao Dinh : If you are a member of the Texas Association of Realtors, you can use the "Residential Lease form TXR-2001 for a condominium. It's designed for leases of 1-4 single family dwellings including condominiums, townhomes or patio homes. Not to be used in complex transactions or to create a "lease purchase." Appropriate addenda may be attached.
If you’re ever in doubt, TAR has a list of forms with their descriptions in zipForms. The list is called, FORM DESCRIPTION AND REFERENCE. That’s where I got the Italicized statement above.
Also just so you know for the future, TAR also has a Residential Lease for Multi-Family Property Unit like apartments. TXR-2011.

Thank you thank you so much @Jennifer Ryan :)
Be sure it complies with condo rules CCR, etc. Restrictions on short term rentals, etc.
