Land zoning and home building
I am looking to purchase land to build new homes on and keep looking at land that is already subdivided in a neighborhood. However, these empty lots would be perfect for a home but the zoning says it requires a minimum of 15000sq ft. (Zone R15s), so I don't think I could build on it if it is smaller than that. But then there are other homes in the subdivision with the same zoning and a home on it that is still smaller than the zone requires in sq ft??? So what am I missing?
Can I build on a plot that says R15s, with less than 15000sqft per home?
