Any risks to selling a house with a home warranty?

We are selling our first house and have an offer but the buyer wants a home warranty. The house is over 100 years old and isnt perfect. I'm wondering since they asked for it are they just asking me to pay for it or is there some sort of liability on my end in offering a warranty? I dont want to agree to pay for a warranty if thats going to put me on the hook for future repairs or something.

@Chris E. Home warranties are fairly common in retail residential transactions. It is just the seller trying to get you to pay for it so they don't have to, much like you negotiate about who pays for the survey, title policy, etc.

Home warranties can reduce your liability.  I see them often in my area included.  You would not be on the hook for any repairs as that is where the warranty company would come in.
