Milwaukee Cnty wants to force gov't assistance on landlords

What are your thoughts on this?

Personally I don't like dealing with the government and the difficulties it imposes and do not accept vouchers.  If the vouchers were better managed for both landlords and tenants, I might be persuaded to change my mind.

@Steve McGrane - We have a similar ordinance in Chicago and have for a few years now.  Ours still lets landlords set income/credit/background requirements for all tenants - so if a applicant does not meet my credit requirements I can still deny them.  

They will still need to meet the income requirement on the amount of rent they are responsible for 

The AASEW (Apartment Association of Southeastern WI) will be sending representatives to Monday's meeting to argue against enacting this ordinance.
