Hi. How do I find a list of people who are wholesaling tax liens?
Thanks!

I doubt there’s a list, but there are plenty of people who sell them on Facebook Marketplace, Zillow, and Craigslist.

@Jamie Psmith , do you want to buy from wholesalers or do you want to learn how to become a wholesaler? If buying from them, there are some very disreputable ones, and some good honest ones. Make sure you know what you are doing and do not rely on a single thing anybody trying to sell you tells you about the law. Confirm for yourself.

@Denise Evans I'm interested in buying from wholesalers. I've tried to buy tax lien properties from the state but they're always redeemed or sold. So far I've been unsuccessful, so thought I'd see if a wholesaler had bought some they wanted to get rid of. But I don't know how to find them.

The problem with some of the wholesalers is they send in price quote requests for several hundred properties at a time. They have no time for due diligence. When they get a price quote, they try to sell it to someone. Usually, the former owner redeems within a month or two. I'm not saying they are all like that, but you must be very very careful.
I'm putting together a mixer in Birmingham in early January. The last one was VERY well attended. That will be a good opportunity for you to meet people and pick up some pointers.

@Denise Evans Will you be putting the info for the mixer on your website? Thanks!

@Jamie Psmith I will. Don't have details yet, but it will be there.
