I read the recent IRS release about the 50% immediate depreciation on any property in the Go Zone (Gulf Coast Hurricane Disaster area).
Anyone doing this or have leads on good investment property in Louisiana or Mississippi?
50% depreciation sounds good. What kind of deal are they offering for when your new 1/2 depreciated property is wiped off the earth from another breach of the levies?
this also works in parts of Florida. I have one in Ft. Myers. I am thinking of selling it.
How does it help? Will you get less for your property in florida? or does it just apply to taxes?
