Im a veteran, living in Illinois and I purchased a rental property two years. I would like to purchase another next year(quite possibly two, one turn key and another a rehab). I have heard that creating an LLC and transferring my properties to that is the way to go. I am just unfamiliar with how that works.
An LLC is a great way to get an additional layer of liability protection. Just remember to buy lots of liability insurance and fix what is broken before someone gets hurt.
