Buying a home without a Buyer's agent
I a in the market for buying a home in Los Angeles area. I am wondering about buying without a buyer' agent and negotiating with the seller's agent to adjust the sale price accordingly to account for the commission.
I have done extensive research in the area I am interested in and am well versed with the comps and what I think is fair value for the home. I don't think a buyer's agent would be able to negotiate a better price once their commission is accounted for.
My financing is in place.
The main help I need is with the nitty gritties of writing the contract, inspections and finalizing the deal. Are there flat fee agents or other professionals who can help me out with that?
What do people think about it? Or is this a crazy idea?
