Should I be an Agent or a Salesman/Investor?
Hey you guys, as I mentioned in my last post I’m about to graduate in 11 days. I have a sales job lined up that sounds absolutely miserable but pays 70K a year...I know that eventually I’ll be looking to invest in properties. I currently have 20k in life savings. My question is....
If you were in my position, would you work the sales job and try to learn about real estate/investing on the side? Or would you try to get some job in sales and get a license, without the 70k a year sales job? What sort of entry-level jobs are there? How much do they pay? Would they give me the tools I need to start flipping houses or making smart investments? My eventual goal is to invest in real estate and make a lot of money. Sales sounds miserable but I’m thinking it might be practical to work it for a couple of years while I save up to invest. What do you guys think?
Thanks so much,
Benjamin
