I've  been Investing in RE for over 35yrs and have legally not payed a dime in taxes and have been audited 7Xs by the IRS...and am undefeated...willing to Share my knowledge....

Great post.

I have not paid federal taxes in 3 years, legally. I am not afraid of an audit, because we follow the law.

Taking advantage of the incentives legally provided in the tax code, created by Congress, should be viewed as a patriotic act.  The far left, however, would paint us as evil.  They ignore that we create jobs, create affordable housing, and stimulate the economy so much that the net result is that tax revenues increase.

    @Rich Dowdall I'd be open to learning from a vet - RE is fascinating to me, seems the hardest part is getting started (not letting your first deal sink you)
