Pension or rental property

I’m 43 years old and currently working for a state government agency but would like to pursue real estate investing and quit my government job.

I can either purchase 10 years for $130k and I would be able to quit my job next year but wouldn’t be able to begin collecting my pension until I’m 50 years old. My monthly pension would be about $2k a month.

Or, use that $130 k towards real estate (like BRRR) or short term rentals.

I would like to get some feedback and input.
