My son will transfer to UC Davis this Fall 2018. I am thinking of buying a property for him to live in one room and rent out the remaining rooms. Is that a good idea to pursue ? Any tip/advice is greatly appreciated.
if you can afford to lose $ on it month to month and play the appreciation hold... then yes.
if you are paying cash.... then yes.
NOTHING for sale retail in rentable condition goes for $ you can make back in rent if you finance it...
