I had (another) large tree branch fall at a rental property, but this time, the trunk of the tree was on the neighbor's side of the fence. The branch has always hovered over my property though. In Florida, whose responsibility is it to remove that branch?
Wherever it falls. The owner of the tree has no liability unless it can be documented that the tree is actually unhealthy/damaged And it can be shown the owner knew/had been notified about it in advance.
Not sure if you already had this handled but let me know if you need an affordable reference to have it removed.
