Hey all! I've lived in the Boise/Meridian area for almost 2 years now. I continue to be stunned by the prices in the area. I think the home I purchased (new construction) has appreciated 6 figures already!
That said, my real estate investing has been limited to Fundrise, a bad deal in Equity Multiple and listening to many Bigger Pockets podcasts over the past few years. I'm close to a point where I can start investing more seriously, but definitely feel like I'm in the "don't know what I don't know" phase of learning.
Is there a Boise/Meridian area real estate investors group that meets regularly? Even by Zoom? I realize the importance of networking and would like to get to know more people in a similar situation as me. Thanks in advance for any help!
Other than appreciation markets have you considered cash flow markets? Just wondering if have considered investing in a nearby State, like Washington for instance? @David Clinton III is a great guy that lives in Couer D'Alene, ID but invests in Spokane, WA. I'd suggest reaching out to him if that's not too much of a leap for you.
@Andrew Rosenberg Thanks for the tip! I’ll do that!
Hey @Jaimon Stucki,
@Jonna Weber holds a meetup every couple of months that is really great. We just had one last week. Follow her on BP to find out when the next meeting will be.
@Jaimon Stucki - I invest here locally as well. I haven't been to any of the meetups since Covid popped up, but I am always looking to connect with other local investors.
