As the old roofing adage goes, all good things must come to an expensive end...

The time has come to tear off and replace the flat roof on my brick 3 flat. Anyone have a roofing contractor you would recommend?

@Joey Nakayama make sure you pay attention to the parapet walls when you are getting quotes. A lot of the World War 1 vintage buildings in Chicago have brick issues that should be addressed when you do the tear off roof. Also, make sure that you research the materials your are being quoted. A lot of roofers are still using modified bitumin, but there are better roofing materials that can withstand "ponding" without leaking. The new stuff is supposed to be warrantied for 30 years or more!
