I'm looking for a Title company in the Western Suburbs of Chicago who can help with title searches on prospective properties.  I've also heard that some title companies will pass along leads on pre-foreclosures to investors.  Is this true or just myth?  

@Joe Hermanson my attorney will often times help with this type of research for me. I do have a relationship with a local title company as well, but I typically don't need to go further than my attorney on most deals. Have you tried just looking up the tax records? You can get most info these days on the local county websites for DuPage, Cook, Will, etc. 

@Joe Hermanson - I suggest talking to @Joe Mueller with investor title services.  They are a stand up group and will save you some money.  They in the NW suburbs.
