What does a lunch with a mentor look like?
My name is Michael Goodman. I am a newbie to real estate investing in Indianapolis, IN. I have been reading, listening to podcast, driving neighborhoods in my farm area, and attending Meet Ups and REIA meetings. Asking for help and advice is foreign to me since I usually just roll up my sleeves and go with the trial and error method. I'm trying a different approach. I was able to get the attention of a person I admire with 23 years of experience and is at the top 5% of their region and set up a lunch.
This question is for the Mentors; what did the mentee do to impress or gain your attention to take them under your wing? What did they offer or what value did they bring to the table?
