SFH conversion time Duplex (Birmingham, AL)

Is there anyone that has successfully converted a SFH to a duplex in the Birmingham, AL area that is willing to share their costs for electrical/plumbing/gas work and separately metering? In this case, I would be adding 2 bathrooms and a kitchen.

Also, any recommendations for contractors in Birmingham that are well-suited for this type of job would be welcomed.
