Transfer Tax for Quit Claim Deed in Louisville KY

I recently purchased a triplex in Louisville KY under my name and I'm trying to transfer it to my LLC's name. I submitted a quit claim deed to the county but they responded stating that I need a KRS Statue on Deed or to pay the $240 Transfer Tax. The Transfer Tax seems ridiculous to me since I haven't had to do this in other states. Does anybody here have experience submitting a quit claim deed to Louisville KY (specifically Jefferson County)? Is the Transfer Tax normal or is there a KRS Statue that can prevent me from having to pay the Transfer Tax?

@Andrew C. yes that's normal any time the title transfers to a different name. But I'm no attorney, call Borders & Borders in Louisville with any more questions. They can walk you through that type of transactions.
