Tax deed’s investing

I’m looking for some guidance in my area on purchasing tax deeds and how to go about obtaining a tax deed auction list I called the county and city hall and everyone is telling me that they don’t sell tax deeds if you pay off the deed it stays in the original owner name if he alive or dead and even if he owes taxes so I’m lost here on even getting started please help or we can even partner up

@Jeffrey Hicks, the laws differ in different states. Learn the laws of the state you want to invest in well.

If you don't know that your state doesn't have these, then there is almost certainly a WHOLE LOT MORE you need to learn before investing in something like that. Tax sales are MESSY processes not well suited for a novice. There are typically risks and expenses that may not be obvious on the surface.
