On July 27th there will be a REI meeting at the downtown Starbucks located in the Hotel Alex Johnson in Rapid City, South Dakota. We will be meeting in the Crazy Horse Room at around 5pm for anyone who is interested!

@Mark Gruetzmacher sorry for the late response, I'm back at college in Spearfish now so I will probably not make most of the meetings but I will do my best to show up. I believe the next meeting is on the 31st.

My family lives in Rapid City (I lived there for a while but haven't since the 1990's) and I'm considering getting into the market there. Would love to connect with some local investors. Is there an email group for this meet up? I visit often and would love to attend if a meeting happens while I'm in town. Thank you! I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you all!

@Stephani Horstman There is not much going on here as for meetings right now.  We did a few over the summer with just a couple of us but nothing right now.  We don't have any local meetup groups like some places do.  If you look around here at the market you might find it is a little tougher I think.  Depends on what your doing I guess though.  House prices are expensive and the rent doesn't justify it in a lot of cases.  For that reason alone I deal with mobile homes myself because I can do the repairs needed and also keep them to rent which for me works out good.  Everything has it advantages and disadvantages also I guess.
